McHenry “Luxury” Nursing Home Under Construction

Ground has been broken on construction of a skilled nursing facility next to Northwester Medicine’s McHenry Hospital campus at Ridgeview Road and Bull Valley Road in McHenry. The project is expected to generate 200 temporary construction jobs and 120 permanent health care jobs in the city.

The facility will be a 55,000 square foot single story building including 60 private rooms and 24 shared rooms, plus a food court including Starbucks and Fireside Grille, along with a spa, pharmacy and chapel. Offerings will include physical, occupational and speech therapy, live vital sign monitoring, and on site medical lab facilities.
