McHenry County DOT To Start $43 Million Randall Road Construction Work

Utility relocation work along Randall Road between Harnish Drive and Acorn Lane, and on Algonquin Road between Harvest Gate and Oak Leaf Drive is starting up, with road construction at the intersection to begin summer of 2018. The three year project will add additional travel and turn lanes, traffic signals at seven intersections, and bike paths and sidewalks along the corridor.

Of the total cost, $23 million will come from two federal programs, with the local share coming from current County sources including motor fuel taxes.
