Huntley Considering Proposed Restaurant, Office And Apartments at Dwyer and Main Downtown

ALA Architects of Crystal Lake has prepared preliminary plans for S & H Remodeling and M D Huntley, Inc., owned by Century 21 realtors Lynn Klein and Lisa Rossow, to put up two new buildings at the northeast corner of Dwyer and Main, including a 5,200 square foot two story restaurant with additional outdoor seating of 1,800 square feet on two levels, and a three story building with 1,11 square feet of office space on the ground floor and a two bedroom apartment on each of the second and third floors. Approval of the project would require variances from village parking space requirements, and construction would not begin until Huntley Fire Department vacates its fire station across Coral Street north of the proposed project. S & H and MD Huntley expect to seek downtown TIF Assistance should the project be approved.
