Woodstock Route 47 Widening Depends On $325,000 City Contribution

The much touted availability of $57 million in state funding to widen Route 47 from Route 14 north to Charles Road apparently depends on the Woodstock City Council coming up with at least $325,000.00 to contribute towards traffic signals, roadway lighting, sidewalks and bike paths according to an IDOT letter to the city.
