Huntley Proposes Fire Station Construction And Expansion

The Village of Huntley and Huntley Fire Protection District propose a new 10,000 square foot fire station next to Sun City, a 12,000 square foot addition to the Main Street Department HQ and maintenance facility, followed by selling off the old HQ and Station 1 on Coral Street. Construction would be paid for with an existing $14 million surplus in District accounts, and should take eight to ten months after final plans are approved by the Village.
