Founders Crossing Plan Faces Obstacles in Woodstock

Founders Crossing, proposed by developers Ken and Rhonda Rawson for the former typewriter factory and Die Cast auto parts facility at Clay and First Streets, would include 92 single family one story and two story homes with two or three bedrooms. Residents of nearby Woodstock Station brownstones object to the density of the proposed subdivision, with right of ways reduced from 60 feet to 40 feet. Members of Woodstock’s Plan Commission complained of incomplete information from the developers, and postponed action on the proposal until a June 27 meeting.
