Huntley Rejects Warehouse Development at Former Outlet Mall Site

Huntley’s village trustees voted 4 to 2 against approval of six ordinances needed by developers Michael Reschke and Richard Turasky to redevelop the demolished outlet mall property on Factory Shops Boulevard next to the huge Weber Grill warehouse into a giant warehouse distribution and industrial park. Opposition was based on the limited number of new jobs and paltry sales tax revenues the proposed new use of the property would generate.
