Huntley Library District Seeks $12.9 Million Bond Issue For Expansion

Including a 17,000 square foot expansion and existing building renovations, Huntley Public Library is seeking approval in an April 2 referendum for a 20 year bond issue expected to increase the property tax bills of the District’s 39,000 residents by an average of just over $57 per year. Much of the expanded space is proposed to house spaces for computer and job training programs, and study rooms.
