Marengo Approves Zoning For 15.5 Acre Solar Farm

Atlanta based Sol-America Energy LLC has received zoning approval from the City of Marengo to build a 15.5 acre ground based solar energy facility on 95 acres southeast of Greenlee Street near Marengo High School. Part of the Sol-America proposal is a $200,000.00 donation to the City for road, water or sewer infrastructure improvements.
