Cary Senior Living Developer Gets Solar Roof Panels Approved

PIRHL Developers LLC has received approval from the Village of Cary to build 2,500 square feet of solar panels atop its proposed senior living facility to be located at 880 Feinberg Drive in the village. The solar energy generation is part of plans by PIRHL to obtain certification from the Passive House Institute as an energy efficient building with little need for external energy consumption to maintain year round comfortable indoor temperatures. The planned solar panels will cover just over 10% of the building’s roof surface.
